Meet us at the PDAC Convention 2025
The PDAC Convention, the world’s largest event for the mining and exploration sector, takes place in Toronto, Canada. The Geological Survey of Sweden (SGU) will be present at booth #405. Meet our experts who can tell you about Sweden’s strong geological potential and the conditions for exploration and mining in the country.
One of the most important global issues today is the supply of metals and minerals. Sweden has a thousand years of experience in mining, primarily due to the country’s geological conditions. infrastructure, political stability, and the ability to offer prospectors and mining companies excellent services, including access to geological data such as maps, drill cores , and other documentation.
– SGU’s participation in the PDAC Convention is becoming more and more important since the mining industry is global and SGU is the agency responsible for mineral related questions in Sweden. During PDAC, we inform on the Swedish geological potential of, for example, critical and strategic raw materials, SGU’s mapping program related to mineral deposits, legal information on permitting procedures and maybe most important, how to utilize our digital data and physical archives at the Mineral resources information office, says Therese Bejgarn, head of the Mineral Information and Mining Industry division at SGU.
During the PDAC Convention, SGU is also co-organizing the Nordic Mining Day event on March 3, where the Nordic countries invites participants to gather information and engage in dialogue about the conditions in the Nordic region, focusing on geology, new discoveries, possibilities and legislation.
So if you’re at PDAC, we warmly welcome you to our booth #405!
